Essays

Let's face it: nobody really likes writing essays. There's always something better to do and somewhere better to be than sitting at a computer, staring blankly at a Word document with books spread out in front of you and a vague thesis bouncing around inside your skull. Still, essays are a fact of post-secondary life (if you're an English major, at least) and I've written a boatload over the years. Not all of these have been good, obviously, and some of them were drunkenly penned mere hours before their deadline in sheer desperation. I won't subject anyone to those: the essays posted here are ones that either got an exceptionally good mark (A, A+) or that I particularly liked for some reason. Don't plagiarize, you bastards.
