Is this really necissary

Well folks... If I had to sum up Pixie and my adventures in Ottawa I would have to say... If you ever try to make a right hand turn where you really shouldn't, don’t worry, there will always be some asshole out there just waiting to let you know. ;-)
Click on the connection "thing" to read about the Ottawa adventures.

So when we last left you Pixie and I were eating dinner with our parents... Went well, we bartered contact to a bi-weekly plan... However Jen and I have to alternate weeks, so that way they can let each other know what’s going on... They also added the stipulation that we could not call home if we got thrown in jail. Thanks for that bolt of confidence mom and dad!! However all in all a pleasant meal. (Oh and Cindy, I smoked the cigar that night...thanks dude)

On Tuesday morning we got up nice and early to begin our drive to Ottawa. Things went smoothly and we actually managed to find Eric, even though he still hasn't got his lefts and rights quite straight. (Hey that’s ok, Engineering doesn't really require that sort of thing Eric.)... Now at that point Pixie had been driving for quite awhile, so we parked the vehicle and took a session break on “Canada's Nile”...
That night we crashed at Jim's place, and we got to meet one of his lady friends Lauren (that’s right Jim, our very own Lady killer)

Wed.
Jen applied for her work visa online at Jim's (Still no sign of my visa, so no applying for me....meh). After this it was time to meet up with Tim. A task that was supposed to take 15min.... Well let’s just say that one hour later Pixie and I had driven the Nile AND seen the parliament buildings... BUT we finally got to Tim.... (Driving in Ottawa is ridiculous)
So after such a strenuous amount of driving we needed a rest. So I gave Jen a little guitar concert (AWWWWwwwww)
That evening Pixie and I ventured to a buddy named Kyle's place. There Percilla made her re-appearance, and took another lover. Kyle, next time you claim to have the ability to clear a whole bowl in one hit by yourself... well DON'T!
Basically after that we had energy to go back to Tim's, make dinner, watch a movie and CRASH.

****** Alright, Percilla is calling my name and I need to get ready for the gockey game, so Pixie is taking over ***********

So, Thursday morning and or late afternoon arrived with Meegan and Tim playing guitar...good morning. After some debate over what we were going to do or what needed to get accomplished Meegan and I headed off to find the library for some internet access (Meegan’s passport had finally showed up, and she needed to get on the work visa thing). We got specific directions from Tim and headed out for the day. Well, we ended up at the Parliament buildings… again…. It seemed that we were being drawn to this place, and well why fight it, so we parked the car. Not only did we find some waterproof playing cards, ya that’s right, WATERPROOF,(its cool Jordan its cool!)but we also came across the most fantastic hat that would fit but one Clarissa's head. So back off to the car again...yes we kinda got lost, or just wandered over a block to far and found Beavertails. So you could say that by “temporarily” loosing your way better things are just around the corner. (Meegan: “Jen you are so so very wise….”)

All right, to the library, yes we found it. We checked our e-mails, I got my Visa, and Meegan tried to apply for a visa, didn't work but no worries, we found out today that Meegan can work in Australia.

That night it was decided that the place where we were going to spend our last night in Ottawa was a bar called Babylon, and it just happened to be a live reggae band. Figured we would get there early so Eric (a.k.a. Matt S.), Tim, Jordan, Meegan and I arrived before anyone else did and started drinking. Soon enough Nick also joined the crew. That night was filled with many things including, a short intermission with Nick driving us around in his car and getting dropped back off at the front door of the bar, dancing (lots of it), a session with a very interesting random guy out side, Meegan talking to a random dude with a notebook who ended up weirdly watching us all night (creepy), and me encountering a large black dude who tried to get me to dance (very creepy), but also the band who we have never seen dedicated a song to us and wished us luck on our trip to Australia (how does this happen?). It all ended at 3am when we decided to leave (God bless the gray cup and its ability to cause Ottawa to extend the legal hours in which you can serve alcohol!). We arrived at home to have some cereal, and from the slight spins I had before we passed out, I would say it was a FANTASTIC night. (Meegan: “Dido”)

Friday early am… very sketchy, had to drink some water and then well by Friday pm we were good to go.
We woke up, said some good byes. Thanks Tim for the place to crash and the great host that you are but sometimes I just cant trust your directions.
And that is where we begin our time in Kingston… after arriving at Clarissa's just in time for 4:20.

The night was spent wandering around Kingston with Dave W, stopping in at Trailhead, Making dinner, and meeting Jeremy and Brendon. Umm, well Jeremy passed out about 1/2h after we met him and the last thing he said to us was, "no I’m not sleeping". Brendon has the seal of approval…. Continue on Clairissa
It was then movie time, (Meegz: “with an added visit from Hoover, good to see you dude!”) and everyone had a good night sleep, as there was a big hockey game in the future.

Look forward to a photo option being added late next week for a visual showing of some of our various activities…

Well everyone that is all we have for you right now. I hope you guys are not too worried about us, we love you and there is sooo much more that will be done.
Love
Meegz and Pixie.

so rumour has it that i dont know my left from my right, well the truth is i conquered that a little while ago because the left hand makes an "L" shape with the first finger and thumb. The only problem was when i was typing out directions to meegan, my hands were busy so i had to guess. I stand by my decision.
