King of Pirates English Bar Menu
Designed sporadically between November 2005 and August 2006
This is an English-language bar menu I designed for King of Pirates, an ice-beer place frequented by the foreign teacher crowd in Sanbon, South Korea. I offered to do it for free because I was sorta dating the owner's daughter. Needless to say, things didn't work out linguistically and it took me half a year to finish the fucking menu.
The bar is actually pretty cool though - you get your beers in these plastic mugs encased in ice, and when you're done drinking you hurl the ice cylinder at the FEVER ICE TARGET by the front door. Hit the target, win a prize (or the mysterious symbol which apparently means "Try again, bitch!") Drink enough beers and you'll miss the target entirely, pegging signs, ceiling, people, etc. instead. Either way, the ice smashes very satisfactorily.
Total payment for the menu: 1 sausage platter, 1 plate of french fries (large), 0 daughters.

And notice the blatant shout-outs to myself/crew! Not very professional, Clemens. Not very professional at all.
