Then I had an early childhood FLASHBACK of the time I saw a picture of a sad cat in an issue of TV Guide and started crying, to the great perplexment of my mother. I think the issue was the cat was both hungry and wearing a fancy floppy hat, some sort of stupid dichotomy between extravagance and poverty. I hadn't remembered that in quite a while.
